Simple Egg White Mask
- 1 Egg white
Separate the egg white from the egg. Whisk the egg white until frothy. Using clean fingers, or a clean soft facial brush, spread the egg white on the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
Allow the egg white to dry completely. It will feel very tight on the skin as it dries. Wash with warm water and pat skin dry with a clean towel.
Why it Works: This is the most basic egg white face mask – suitable for normal to oily skin. It improves skin tone and tightens pores.
Creamy Egg White Cleanser
Whisk the egg white in a small bowl until frothy. Add the sour cream and the water until well mixed. Apply to clean skin every morning and evening. Keep on skin for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and pat skin dry with a clean towel.
Why it works: Ideal for dry skin – the egg whites have a tonic action that tightens the skin. The sour cream has lactic acid to gently exfoliate the skin.
Salty Egg White Cleanser
- 1 Egg White
- ½ teaspoon of Sea Salt
- 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
Whisk egg white in a small bowl until frothy. In a separate bowl, mix salt and yogurt, then fold into the egg white. Apply to clean skin in the morning and evening. Keep on skin for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and pat skin dry with a clean towel.

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Whisk egg white in a small bowl until frothy. Add oatmeal and lemon juice and mix well. Apply a thin layer over face and neck. Leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water, then splash face with cold water. Pat skin dry with a clean towel.
Why it works: Egg whites tighten the pores. The oatmeal provides gentle, skin renewing exfoliation, and the lemon juice is rich in fruit acids that will exfoliate to gently remove dead skin cells and will also bleach darkened or discolored areas. This mask is ideal for normal to oily skin.
